They are great for cold weather. They have adjustable truss rods but I never had to touch mine and once I set the intonation for the strings I use it stayed true. I always wanted one of their fretless basses but I didn't grab one before they unfotunately became scarce and the price went up. Hopefully someone will resurrect the process and manufacture them again.
