I got a couple new Duncan Jazz Bass bridge pickups cheap with the notion to try them in the soapbar routes for my Dearmond Pilot bass. Yes, weird, but it's not like the appearances matter, since I don't gig it or anything.

They are kind of an odd set, though, as one is the standard vintage model and one is a Quarter Pounder. It occurs to me that I might want to exchange one or both, depending on policy constraints.

Do they only let you swap within type, like jazz for jazz, Strat for Strat, or can you swap jazz for precision or Strat for humbucker? Do they keep you to the same position type, like any other humbucker in price range as long as it's neck? What can I expect? Not trying to abuse it, more just get an idea of whether it's worth getting into.

I have been reading the SD forums lately bunch of crazy obsessive guitar maniacs there 24/7 . They have a pickup lounge will get you an answer in a few seconds of posting https://www.seymourduncan.com/forum/forum.php I think it is pretty open policy but would imagine it is price based.
