It is shiny and new ! Me owning a $200 pedal is a signal of the endoftheworld. Anyway it has some nice sounds and is pretty tweakable. Add 18v power and it gets more aggressive , I need to dig out a 12v adapter and try that too.Pretty great sounding OD all the way around that could actually be called a distortion pedal if you want to use it like one. Mostly used it before amp on gain channel for a lead boost/enhancement have not put a distortion pedal in front of it yet to see how that works.Using similar settings as my TS the sound is very similar but better and more open or broad. Has some very good harmonic output and played nice with a compressor in front of it (Visual Sounds Comp 66) fairly low to medium settings.Probably not up your alley Joe being it can easily go into the more distortion range but it is very musical and has many good sounds in it. Of course it has the word Kalamazoo on it so that is just an added bonus! Have to get a Heritage now , oh wait not a chance in hell. Friend is gonna buy a H 555 I am jealous.Have to build or buy a Klon still because this just isn't one no matter how you slice it.
