You got lucky... I hadn't realised that Adrian Belew was such a total douchebag for playing a Parker Fly! And I'll let someone else tell Billy Gibbons that his Billy-Bo makes him a sort of creep!

This came from a poll of over 500 readers at a music portal based loosely on a similar one on beards.

Trustworthiness of guitars poster

No actual guitarists were harmed in the making of the poster which you can buy at the web site.

The concept is a great idea, the actual info graphic and commentary came across a little shallow. Who says everyone that played a Tele is virtuous? I think this really needs to look at individual guitars. For example what's the moral virtue of the owner of this: https://www.themusiczoo.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/IMG_9739.jpg

Gold is the color of heaven, are those pearly gates? The details look like an illuminated manuscript. Of course it's pin-striping and the lines suggested the stylized flames of hell. Just like the devil to tempt the unwary with gold.

It's got no switch! It always speaks with the same voice, or two voices? A single master tone, can you trust what this guitar has to say?

Look at the buckle rash. This guitar was slung low. I would not let my daughter date the owner.

The guitar has been chambered. Now we're getting to the heart, is it hollow? Weight relieved and empty. It's a light weight besides it's bad boy appearance.

The real tell tale here is the fact that it's been reliced. This is a sin against musicianship. All of the history and experience this instrument portrays is a sham.

All of that said, I personally think this guitar is pretty bad ass. Though I would never buy a "reliced" instrument. I'd feel like an ass, and worse knowing I'd paid more for it. I'm the same way with my jeans. I'm wearing them out myself.

Never understood that whole "want to be a hipster " view point ? Why else would you buy a reliced anything geez? Took me 25 plus years to wear the paint off the neck of my Les Paul.

The question has been asked, if you have a "reliced" copy of a famous guitar, does it need to be returned to the factory if the original owner puts a new ding in their instrument?

The idea I suppose to give you the feeling of experience without having to pay your dues, a classic mistake.
