Hi Guys,

I'm currently changing my guitar pickups for my les paul to a Seymour Duncan SH-2N Jazz and Gibson 498T.

I was gonna do push/pull on the volume pot so I can to Series/Parallel wiring for the two pickups but I noticed in the Seymour page they do

while the gibson/Wiring pickup webpage does it

Which on is correct or what difference are the two?

Will it matter for the pickups to follow their directed instructions or is it okay to choose form on or the other?

Please help!!!

Where are the ground and output signals? I looked up a few other references and saw two that looked like your first drawing. But it's incomplete without showing where the signals that would go to your tone/volume pots are coming from.

Both diagrams have the same results. The seymour diagram just skips one extraneous link.

Sorry man. The North start will become the output wire for both cases and the wires that will be grounded is written 🙂
