I pulled out Project #1, the Bad Ass Distortion pedal and thought I'D share the noise it makes. (Project number two, the Fuzz, was the best pedal so far but I lent it to my son and he won't give it back. I spread the tone circuit out in the Fuzz as far as I was able to (one of your suggestions) and that gave so many different colors to the sound.)

Back to Project #1. The sample has 4 takes. Off, 25% gain, 50% gain and 75% gain. John Petrucci told me not to turn it up full.....well you know why. The design definitely has a sweet spot at 70% volume for some reason. I'm pretty happy with it.

I also have built the Boost, un-powered on board boost and the MrOC Compressor which is great. I'm looking for something more adventurous. Thanks for getting me into this!
