And the best thing I saw all week? This California Condor, spotted along Highway 1 south of Big Sur. At one point the condor population dwindled to 22, all in captivity. They were reintroduced to the wild 20 years ago, and now there are several hundred of these big-ass vultures. At nearly ten feet, their wingspan is the largest of any North American bird. But ol’ #66 here was just chilling out on a rock.
