A Les Paul Florentine with a Tele neck, a SD '59 in the neck, a SD pearly gates in the bridge, and series-passive-single coil mini toggles for each pickup. Or the same set up on an SG. I love Gibsons, but I vastly prefer Fenders necks.

You are the Borg. Stop trying to assimilate us.

HSH tele with maple neck, through body bridge, sunburst or yellow. Coil splitting on the buckers, Three way switch for the buckers and a pot to fade in the middle, stereo outputs.

I got my Epiphone Les Paul Signature down off the wall hanger in my studio to replace the tail piece with a Gibson TP-6 fine tuner model today (love those fine tuners). I haven't played it much in the last few years but I guess hanging on the wall with lots of guitar playing and music listening in the studio has really sweetened it up over the last 12 years. I was having a blast playing it thru my Fender Pawn Shop Excelsior amp (15" spkr and 2-6V6s) a very sweet amp for $299.00 delivered to my door. The Les Paul Signature has low impedance humbuckers with a multi-tap transformer that gives three different output impedances ranging from a a lipstick tube at the low end to slightly hot strat to a fat PAF sound. Plus it is almost a hollow body having a block of chromyte (balsa wood) under the bridge so it has a wonderful natural but controllable feedback available (but never howls even on stage with a 4-12 cab). And it's a gold top too!! Always wanted a real Gibson but prices are prohibitive. The thing is that now with some age on it the tone is very much improved from when I bought it new in 2000 (it's a 1998 model). I guess I can live without an ES-330 for now but a Gibson Super 400 would be nice.

330's are't cheap, but they're sure as hell cheaper than that gorgeous Super 400. 😉

I've always wanted an original PRS Dragon II mint in blue. Or an original Zemaitis. Or an old Martin acoustic in decent shape. Next week I'll have a different list. hahaha
