A man named Forrest introduced a third part called the grid, so that made a triode. A simple amplifier was born (a 12AX7 is a triode.) To make a tetrode a screen grid was added. I mean, even if you correct for the grammatical error (the JamMan Solo XT didn't exist three decades ago), that claim isn't even close. I mean, three decades ago was the eighties. Looping is almost as old as magnetic tape. It was a well-established technique long before the Beatles popularized it in the mid/late ’60s.
