I have the Fiendmaster parts sitting here, including the nicely painted chassis from Mammoth. How do I torque down the retaining nuts on the jacks that are on the outside of the box without scratching the paint?

Thanks,

Shayne

Hello guys!
Can anyone please help me with debugging layout I made. I tried to make layout in P2P style, but have problems with it.
Notes:
- Tried 3 functional AC128's(hfe=95), tested them in other circuit.
- Checked values of rest of the components and their polarity if needed
- skipped R5 for LED

Screenshot of layout and fiendmaster schematics:

Please let me know if you can spot the error.
Thank you in advance!

Edit:
I rebuild the Fiendmaster with new parts and this one works without problems 🙂 Not sure where was the problem with first one. As mentioned I checked values and polarity, also orientation of transistor (used socket and tried different positions). Also did not find shorts between components, terminal, chassis... Maybe some component (not transistor) is faulty...

Anyway I can confirm that layout is correct and working 🙂

Hey Joe!
Thank you for lighting the pedal building fire under my ass! This pedal is awesome. I wondered, though, if you've ever used shielded wire for cutting down on noise?

Keep rockin.
